A half tonne explosives bag, strung up and sagging, leaks black fluid, its half dead presence bleeding out onto the floor. A minuscule screen flashes text of warning and outrage, a furious energy reduced to a micro scale easily overlooked. Helen Reddy’s optimistic anthem I Am Woman slowed to 50 beats per minute wavers around them, stretched and dragged under.

Collaboration with artist Kelly Doley. Commissioned by Campbelltown Arts Centre for the Catching Light exhibition as part of ISEA 2013.

The Airgrounds were a new genre of air structures comprising soft, responsive architectures the public could interact with.

At the Brighton Festival a pyramid-shaped inflatable with a transparent outer skin and yellow inner skin, partially inflated cushion as kinetic floor, was set up by the seaside. The visitors could enter and play on its soft inner surface.

In this installation at the International Art & Science Exhibition a large, back projected high-resolution monitor was mounted on a motorised turntable. An infra-red joystick controlled the 360-degree rotation of this screen and the synchronous rotation of the viewer's point of view in the computer-generated scene. This joystick also allowed the viewer to move his point of view forwards and backwards in the scene.

An Imaginary Museum of Revolutions was a proposed multimedia installation to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. The basic concept was to address 200 revolutions from the French Revolution up to the present-day. The major components were firstly a sculpture garden of replicas of revolutionary monuments, all reduced to one size, that when touched would play their respective revolutionary songs. Then secondly a group of coin-operated dispensing machines where one could buy small replicas of these 200 revolutionary monuments.

Large LED alphanumeric units are mounted in a 13 x 9 grid on the stage tower of this theater. Like a conventional news sign textual information is scrolled through these elements, but because the alphanumeric units are spaced far apart, the projected information becomes abstracted into a more complex image - it generates a patterning of fragments of words and sentences that appear to weave in and out of the wall of the building. The theater users interactively program this sign, taking titles and texts from performances that are being presented in the theater.
